Third Annual "Tole 'N ME" Auction

It may be called “Shabby Chic”; however, it is anything but shabby.  The third annual Tole ‘N ME auction of unique, hand-painted items showcases familiar objects, hand-painted in the most unusual ways.   Everything from new and used furniture to ordinary household items and all things in between are painted using every bit of care and creativity some of Maine’s best decorative painters can muster.   Looking for something special for your home?  Trying to find that special something for that special person that seems to have everything? The auction will provide the opportunity to find just what you’re looking for: something unique, something with no other copies sold, and something that everyone can afford in these times of limited budgets.   Come view the items painted by our talented decorative painters from across Maine.  Auction preview will be from 11:30 to 1 pm Oct. 23rd.  Every piece has been hand-painted with individual flair and creative bent.  The auction will be held at the Good-Will Hinckley auditorium in Prescott Hall, Route 201, Skowhegan, from 1pm to ….until all items are auctioned.  Admission is free, plus there are fun hand painted door prizes.   There will also be several themed baskets available for raffle.  A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Good-Will Hinckley School.
